I think if there is no display there is 2 most likley causes - controller failed or the heater plate has over heated and has burnt out, an over temperature thermo cutout. The controller is approx $130.00 (nz$) and can be changed in under 1/2 hr by someone who knows about these. If the heater plate has failed it do-able but more difficult and may have failed due to no water in the draw.
