Toshiba 40RV525U goes into green screen mode when switching from 1080 picture source to a lower resolution source and vice versa. The only way to clear it up is to change the input on the tv, power cycle the TV or power cycle the cable box, dvd player, or whatever source is feeding the TV. It's been that way since I bought it. Any insight out there?

I have had the same problem. Toshiba 40RV525U with Motorola cable box DCX- 3400 on HDMI connection. turning on the system switches to all green screen. The only way to gett the pic back was to switch inputs (ie switch to DVD then back to Cable), then the picture would re-appear. Toshiba has acknowledged it and has the fix on their website at http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/bulletinDetail.jsp?soid=2865262&pf=true
IT WORKS! I love the internet. Comcast tech acted like they had never heard of it before.
