TP-LINK TL-WR340G, No internet connection
I have got a TL-WR340G Wireless Router with a Wireless usb adaptor which connect 100%. I have followed the Quick Setup instructions ie IP address as 192.168.254, Subnet Mask as 255.255.255.0, and Gateway as192.168.1.1, Username admin and Pass word as admin, Yet I am not getting any connection to the internet, my isp is Virgin/Cable and I am running Win XP. This is my first time at trying to go Wireless, so I am a bit of a novis, any help is appreciated.

Look for the MAC address clone feature on the router. If the router does not ahve the auto clone MAC feature, you'll need to manually input the MAC address of your computer.
To get the MAC address or Physical address of the computer do this
Click start>run>type in "cmd" and press okay (without the " ").
On the Command prompt type in ipconfig/all and then press enter, look for physical address.
Then input that on the MAC clone feature of the computer to your router and then power cycle everything (turn everything off and then turn on modem first-then router-then computer).
