My transfer belt with 60k copies remaining was ripped to shreads by a toner drum cover that apparently was not seated properly. I located a new belt only from one location. The question is how is the count reset if I rebuild the kit? Is there a chip like the toner cartridges or is there a reset procedure within the printer menu? Also, any good sources for belts only or rebuild kits?
