i aint hearing a knocking sound from what seems to be my transmission, it only happens when the vehicle is in gear and it gets louder when u i accelarate.
we had a flood a few days ago so im thinking it could be as a result of driving through the water.
plz reply asap.

Make sure the shifter and the linkage are greased, if the grease got washed off it could be the problem.
