If using an extension cord try plugging directly into wall. If not check the deck under the walking belt for worn surface (wood should not show) Purchase the silicone lube designed for your model and re lube the walking surface under the belt. The motor is overheating and pulling too many amps and the fix is to reduce friction. (You may notice the problem being more pronounced the heaver and larger feet the user has) Eric
Have you tried it in another location? I had a customer that used his all winter in the house and when he took it to the garage for the summer he experienced the symptoms you describe. When back inside it was fine again. Not sure about flipping the board as most of the ones I worked on were not coated on the back side and could not be flipped. Depending on the users size and walking habits the surface can deteriorate relatively quickly. Ex. Husband was 275 lbs. size 14 shoe and walked very inconsistently, belt would come to a complete stop. Wife 120 lbs. women size 5 shoe easy gait, no problems at all.
Consumer grade equipment has a 2 year life expectancy. Most have either stopped using in that time period or are developed beyond the machine and ready for an upgrade. Eric
