The modem and sim work fine when plugged directly into the laptop, but the sim card fails to connect when in the 3G router. The router says it has successfully recognised the modem and the model is listed as supported. I have installed latest firmware, but still no internet connection. Router takes a long time to id the modem and then a long time trying to connect. Eventually gives up. Could it be the associated software that loads automatically first (after quite a wait) on a laptop, is interfering with the modem-router link?
