Please provide all your vehicle information. if its an f-150 there can be several ways for the start function to be lost. theres a starter relay as well as a starter solenoid on many of those type i have checked. the last one needed a relay. it was hidden under a pastic cover back at the firewall. i had to take the old part with and explain to the parts guy to get the right one. instead of the one thats screwed to the top of the starter. yours may be different so check with a test light and see where you are losing sinal or good connection
