Trying to Delete QB Pro 2005
I have QuickBooks Pro 2005 installed on this computer. The computer actually came from the business I was working for, which is now closed. I went to "Add or Remove Programs" and tried to delete the program. The response I get is: "Action only valid for products currently installed".... I know the program is still installed and is showing 4962.00MB. When I go to "RUN", it shows there also. I do not have the discs to try to "reinstall" the program only to try to delete it again..... I've even tried to do a system restore, but can't go back that far.... PLEASE HELP! I'd appreciate any input you may offer..... Thank you!

This is often caused by a broken Microsoft Installler reference, or registry issues.
First, try searching the QuickBooks folder for a file called Reboot.bat. Once you locate it, run it.
Try to uninstall.
If that fails, Microsoft has an Installer Clean Up Tool you can download and run,
If all else fails, you may wish to contact an Intuit Pro Advisor in your area to see if they still have a copy of the 2005 disk to reinstall and uninstall with.
