Trying to fix an error 10 for my DVD I erase some files and now there isno image only the mouse pointer is showing and the screensaver work. I need help on how to recuperate those files

Try boot up in safe mode (hit F8 while booting up) and use the system restore to take it back to the day before you erase the files.
