Trying to fix bathroom faucet (Monticello)
Trying to replace screw connecting handle to base. Need to remove base first to get to the fallen screw. Base is SO stuck to countertop...how do I remove? I tried water/vinegar...no luck at all. What's the trick? Thanks

Hi, If the sink was installed right ...then they used 100% silicone. The only way to get them apart is by carefully prying them apart. If the screw is steel you might try a small magnet on a string or a telescoping magnet. Hope this Helps, RSMITH972278 P.S. PLEASE RATE MY ASSISTANCE
