tub combo hot water problem
I have a shower/tub combo in the guest bathroom and the water for the shower gets hot, but only warm when I try and run bath water. Is there a valve that I can replace to correct this?

There is a restriction in the faucet or the piping to the faucet on the hot wtaer side...this will be very hard to find and fix... The shower uses less water so it will get hot.... the tub spout allows more water flow so you cannot get the water more then warm...
Take the faucet apart and blow out all the passage ways with air... also run some water from the piping while the guts are out of the faucet, to flush the piping...
