tuner. You hear sound when the tuner is playing but when trying to play a cd, it reads the cd, tells you what song, how long is left,etc...but you cant hear anything. I was told that i would have to go thru chrysler to purchase a particular head unit because of the wiring in the 94. is this true or can i bypass this?

You should be able to get a factory connector for the unit that matches the stereo to the vehicle internal wiring. you will have to go to the dealer for this but you should not have to get a new head unit. please rate this solution....thanks
