Do you mean the Panasonic KX-TGA470 handset? The KX-TGA470 handset is the included handset for several models of Panasonic cordless phone systems, including the KX-TG7732. When the ringer is off, the handset should show a bell with a line through it. To adjust the ring volume, press Menu on that handset when the phone is in standby. (The base and handsets are not in use.) After pressing the Menu button, type # 1 6 0. (Alternatively, use the arrow keys to navigate to Initial Settings and press the soft key for Select. Navigate to Ringer Settings and press Select again. Go to Ringer Volume Handset and press Select once more.) Use the arrow keys to select a value between 0 and 7. 0 will keep the ringer disabled. Press the soft key for Save. Press Off to exit the menu.
You can also adjust the ringer volume on that handset by pressing the Volume Up key while the phone is ringing at the base and other handsets. You can adjust the base ringer volume by pressing the + or - keys when the phone is ringing. Alternatively, press Menu # * 1 6 0 from any handset. Note: this phone system also has a silent mode.
