TV has a thin white line in center of screen
I have a bright white line across the center of my 25" tv. I have cleaned the sensor eye with achol and a q-tip and it helped me to retreive a picture, although it has a lot of horizonal lines running through it. My volume level's work fine, although the lined picture goes away after a while. My tv is about 10 years old. Can you give me any more suggestions on how to fix possibly the sensor, or could there be another problem?

Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.
