Tv has trouble coming on... when it finally comes on, picture is black after about 25 minutes of the tv being on the picture starts to get better and starts flashing, flashing used to go away after 15 minutes but now it wont. tv has already been to a shop but they couldnt fix it.. how could i try to fix it?

OK so take the back and the stand off the TV about 30 screws... when you look at the insides there will be 2 larger circuit boards in the middle of the TV and one small one on the top of the TV pay those three boards no mind at all.. look to the right and left there will be one on each side of the TV covered with some medal shields remove the shields extract the board look at the 2 big capacitors laying on their side inspect the top there is a factory score mark that will have black residue leaking if this is what you see, go to radio shack bring one of the capacitors in with you and get 4 new ones replace both caps side by side on each of the side panels install the boards and shields replace the back and stand turn on and enjoy... don't replace the whole panels the parts are only $1.60 each you can handle the soldering i know you can so TV fixed for a hour of your time and under $10.00.... I have a si milar problem with mine i n that it rurns on ok, but flashes a lot. The screen is also a lot darker than it should be, almost all of the time. I assume it's a pwer issue. How did you fix yours? Thanks.

Did u fix ur problem i broke my screen and im triing to buy a screen off a used one if ur interested in selling me urs let me know
