TV is black as if turned off
It's a Norcent 42 inch flat screen ( 2004-Model PT4231). As I said above the sound and everything else is fine, but the screen is black as if the TV is turned off. Can anyone tell me what is causing this and what I need to do to correct it. Thank you!

You may have lost the 24vdc due to bad caps, this 24vdc is used to power the backlight inverter baord, or you may have failed inverter board. Look for 24vdc first.
