Tv makes clicking noise but won't turn on
I have 40'' LCD flat panel about 1 1/2 yrs old and about week ago it became harder to power on after hitting remote or power button on tv. Today it makes a clicking noise and will not come on. Is it a power supply issue?

It is a power supply issue. options 1- replace the power supply
2- this unit has an issue with 4 capsitors on the power supply which sit side by side and are about 10 volt each replace them with standard 16v caps.
if you know how to use a soldering iron then it shouldent be to hard. just un solder and resolder. If not have a repair person do it.
Definitely a power supply problem.I had the same problem and changed the power supply, and TV works normally. Depending where you buy the unit, it shouls cost around $150/--, and it is very easy to replace.

I had the same problem with a 46" Samsung LED. There was continuous clicking of the relay and the red led also flashing non stop.' Power on 5V' line in the main board was short with ground. Replacing the main board solved the problem. I hope this will be helpful.
