TV was working fine till Friday 29 Jan 11. Went to turn it on screen was dark blue,but sound was on, after about 10min the screen went to bright blue then the picture came on. Saturday the same thing, today it came on right a way,but then went back to dark screen. We tried re-doing the connection didn't seem to work, after about 20mins it came on ,but it well not go to 1080p only 480p

Hello,
The problem you are having is the power supply in the TV is failing. When you try to power the unit on you get on power or a slow turn on. It also can explain the problem of not running at full 1080p resolution because the higher the resolution the no power is required to operate the TV.
