u lamps are functional. I replaced the relay the bulbs and fuse none of which were damaged. What the heck could it be? michael Wilson [email protected]
Probably a broken wire under the truck. If you have an aftermarket trailer plug on it, that'll be the first place to look. Just do some probing with a test light, and see where the power ends.

Sounds like the flasher relay in malfunctioning and needs to be replaced.
