Ubuntu error 22
I have two hard drives on my pc, one with ubuntu 7.10, the second with 8.04. I want to get rid of the 8.04, so I deleted all of it's partitions.
Now when I boot the machine, I get "Error 22" in Grub.
used Super Grub to boot into 7.10, and I want to edit Grub so that 8.04 is out of my machine completely and the pc will boot straight to the 7.10.
Thanks.

While in Ubuntu do:
sudo fdisk -l to find the drive you want to boot to.
On the command line type:
"sudo grub", this will give you the grub shell >
If the disk you want to install the MBR is sda* for instance, then type (at the grub prompt):
"setup (hd0)"
then type "quit" at the prompt.
Go to /boot/grub
u must edit the "menu.lst" file as root
sudo gedit '/boot/grub/menu.lst'
Then go and modifiy the file as u need ...
