Ubuntu grub error 17
Hi i tried installing windows vista over my ubuntu the os installation went wrong and now i keep getting the grub error 17 i can boot from the live cd and that works is there any way of fixing this error my self or do you no of any software whichll do it for me

You have to delete the ubuntu partition completely and recreate a new partition for the vista install. You can do this during the vista setup.
