Uhf or Vhf that is the question
I bought this JT1000 at an Gov. auction and would like to find out if its a UHF or VHF. The numbers on the back are: MODEL# H01RDH9PA3AN TYPE- RDUA
I thought this was a good police radio that would recieve calls in my car but I dont have a clue how to use it. I already bought a real scaanner so I'll more than likely sell this. Thanks for any help

UHF. To receive calls in your car, the radio would need to be programmed to a frequency matching other radio you are wanting to receive transmissions from.
