Unable to get on the internet. It says ethernet is unplugged. a friend told me that i should download the driver to my other computer. Then put the harddrive on the other computer that im having problems with.But i dont know if that will solve my problem?

If you need a new driver just have a friend go to the motherboard manufacturer website and have him/her burn the driver on to a CD or USB flash drive for you. After you get the new driver, make sure your LAN is enabled in Bios. If it still does not work, try a different computer that you know is working to check to see if you can go online and that your modem/router is okay. If all else fails, then your ethernet chip on your mobo is fried. Pick up a PCI ethernet card on ebay for $10.00 Good Luck..Hank
If its saying "Ethernet is unplugged" means its not getting signal from the router to the machine through your LAN cable. Try changing the LAN cable and check your Ethernet settings.
