Unable to pair Nokia N85 to Parrot car Kit
Hi, I have just acquired a Nokia N85 phone. I have a Mitsubishi Ttriton which comes with a standard car Kit. When I search for Bluetooth devices the phine locates the car kit (Parrot VM3.18) however I am unable to pair it with the device,
Just took my vehicle into Mitsubishi and they haev advised that the phone may be a little to advaced for this car kit.
As the car is only 2 years old does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do to pair the N85 to my Parrot VM3.18. Thank you

It's possible that you need to reset the parrot - seems it might only accept pairing with one phone. On mine you hold down the red and green keys together until she tells you that she is clearing the memory, then she prompts you to pair your phone
For all G3 phone try: Object Push: * From your phone go to MENU / COMMUNIC. / CONTACTS * Select the desired contact to send * Go to OPTIONS / SEND BUSINESS CARD / VIA BLUETOOTH / ALL CONTACT DATA * Phone will search for available bluetooth devices * Select from the list Parrot Product and press SELECT * wait until the contact is transferred. After contact is sent, it is neccessary to register "Contact's Name"
Worked perfectly, thanks.
My nokia n85 wouldnt pair up with my parrot ck3000 hands free kit i managed to get it working by only turning on the cars ignition once my phone had started to try pairing and to my surprize it works now no more please pair device everytime i get in my car
I had the same problem with my N85 not connecting to my Parrott CK 3000. I read elsewhere that others had the same problem with their N96 and they just carried on trying again and again to pair it until it worked. I tried this and after around 10 attempts in a row it paired. Now it works.
Just persist and it should work.
It should pair no problems, the pairing code is 1234, however you will not be able to sync your contacts, you have to do this manually.
Go into contacts, Mark All, send via bluetooth, select your carkit and send.

The object push listed above should work. Or do what I did.
Try sending an MP3 to the Parrot kit. I couldn't even get the Parrot BT in my car to ask for the BT password numbers but found out to try sending an MP3, which will fail by the way, and it asked for the password finally.
There was an error in my case, but then the phone asked to connect to the Parrot again and the pairing worked.
There is an issue with newer Nokia phones, something I will be thinking about next phone upgrade.
Hi. I had the same problem with Nokia 5800. After about 200 tries it works. I did nothing special the time I got it but it would seem that if you keep trying it will work. Very starange if you ask me.
