If the light is not on, on the charger, check the fuse in the end of the car charger...the tip unscrews and there is a tiny fuse just under the tip.
if thats ok, check the fuse to the outlet you are using in your car.
if the light comes on the charger and it still wont charge, let me know and i can help you fix it.
the 3140 are known for there bad power ports.
