Battery recently died and caused cd radio to turn on and off. Caused the cd's to sound like they were shifting around as the battery also caused the alarm to go off. Now radio display blinks on and off and goes to the AM setting once it stops blinking. Radio works but cd player screen display says "initializing" or an error message. Cd's will not eject or load. I went to local Ford/Lincoln/Mercury dealer and they are lost and say it has no code that I need a new radio. Is this true or does it have a radio code? I bought the Monterey new in 2007 and can not find anything in the owners manual.
