Make sure you have the drivers install for your Network Interface Card and/or Wireless. Are there any yellow question marks in Device Manager? Download the drivers from the Acer website for your particular model. Usually the Vista drivers work ok with 7. If drivers are installed and device manager is clean, then it's a setting and/or your router needs to reboot in order to see you on the network. Windows 7 has some pretty decent troubleshooters built right in, so go to the Network and Sharing Center and try that too. Hope this helps! If so, please give a rating!
