UPGRADING USB 1.1 TO USB 2
First off, I am a bit of a numpty as far as PCs are concerned. I have a Netvista 6274 - 14G with USB 1.1 and I want to upgrade / update to USB 2. I've searched on the internet and I'm confused about what part(s) I need as different sites suggest: PCI Card - Type 'F' and others about a 'Daughter Board'. Can someone please advise me what parts I do actually need to change to USB 2 and also a supplier, many thanks.

I searched and found a 1/2 height PCI card with 2 USB ports, plus a internal connector for two more ports. My little NetVista will not hold a full-height PCI card. Get out your tin snips.
Works like a charm !
FYI: I disabled the BIOS USB support for the old ports, and plugged the old MB cable into the new PCI card. I now have two 2.0 ports on the front, and two 2.0 ports on the back. However, I lost the ability to boot from USB
