Report "usb adapter and the same thing happens... the drive shows up in my disk utility on the mac but i cannot access the files. i have also tried this on a pc... i think reformatting the drive will fix it but i am not concerned with that , i am concerned with getting the files and projects of the mv hard disk then i could care less what happens to anything!.. I am afraid i have tried everything except sending to a data recovery place, but i know will cost $$... Please help?!?! THANK YOU!"
