The "not supported" message indicates that the set sees a signal but that the signal it beyond what it can display. If you have a laptop connected, decrease the resolution and try again. I don't have the specs at hand, but a 1024x768 resolution should be usable by the Polaroid set.
You might try to unplug the power on the monitor and let it reset. Also if your using it with a laptop you might try going to display properties and choosing your second monitor.
