Factory reset the router by pressing in the tiny "reset" button for 10 seconds until all lights blink. the hardline to the router and log in. user ID should be admin and password should be either admin or password onve it is back to factory setting. If it is a newer router, then it may be located on a sticker on the bottom or on the back of the router. In order to log into the router, have it hard lined to the computer and open a web browser. the type in 192.168.1.1 into the address bar and a window should pop up to ask you to enter the user ID and password.
