Using my HP 1000 I try to print a check and the page comes out black. Only the checks

Quickbook 2009 version, suddenly when printing a check it print total black over the paper. I can print reports but can not print a check. I am using the HP 1000. Never had this problem. I reloaded drivers, still nothing. A black sheet of paper comes out.
