Usually my rinnai 1004f is set at 64 and reads out about 66 or so. This morning I woke up and it read 48 and was freezing cold in my house. I tried cleaning out both filters and looking outside to make sure something wasnt covering the vent. Please help. I also tried turning it off and back on with no results

You can get any error code that may be stored by pressing on the Economy button and the UP and Down arrows all at the same time and hold for 5 or 6 seconds. This may get you a start on what may be the problem. Post them when you get them. If you do not get any error codes, remove the right side panel closest to the wall and look for a small black rubber bulb. That is the thermostat for the unit. If you hold it with your fingers, it should show a higher temp. I am afraid that you are going to need a technician who is familiar with Rinnai heaters if you can't get it going.
