You probably mean a CV joint. You would only have that witha 4x4 frt axle not on the rear drive shaft. You do have a universal joint on the driveshaft. It is where the driveshaft connects to the diff and where it connects to the transmission. It looks like an x or a cross. When this joint goes bad you usually get a klunk sound. Take the driveshaft out and over to a driveline shop to have rebuilt. You need a press to do it yourself.

Ultra violate joints are in the drive shaft you can only see them with special glasses ;) lol
