Just as a matter of general information, four cycle portable appliances are relatively rare and seem considerably more expensive than the 2-stroke type.
If you have to mix oil with the fuel, use a good oil and please note, it is something needing a fairly high degree of precision for the long life and greater reliability of a 2-stroke appliance. Keep the fuel and fuel dispensing/measuring equipment scrupulously clean and water and dust free - keeping it all in a large plastic bag helps. Fuel soon goes stale so it is best not to keep more in hand than your immediate needs,

Most weed eater products are two cycle. if you have to mix oil with the gas they are two cycle. If there is no place to add the oil like a four cycle then its two cycle. Do not run a two cycle engine without adding oil to the gas or you will burn it out fast
