Valve in Delta faucet closes as water warms up
I have two Delta faucets in the bathroom that have a problem with the valves closing, shutting off the flow of water. The faucets are three years old and the problem first surfaced in the hot water side but now seems to occur with the cold water side as well. When turning on the hot water, the flow would be normal, but as the water warmed up, it seemed the valve slipped closed, restricting the water flow to a trickle. It now seems to be occurring on the cold water side as well. It seems that some O rings or something have gotten worn out. Am I on the right track, and if so, how difficult is the repair?

Yes, you are on the right track, but Deltas use a fancier kit inside them. It is quite a bit pricier than an O ring, but will solve the problem. It is not hard to install at all.
