Variable speed doesn't work on Milwaukee Magnum hammer drill
I have a Milwaukee 5370-1 Magnum hammer drill and the variable speed doesn't work. I have replaced the switch but still it operates as either on or off, no variable speed. What other part could be the culprit?

How new is the tool. Give me the serial number and I will come up with a solution, also what is the switch number you bought. Let me know.
I see that you bought the right switch, I would recheck the wiring using bulletin #58-01-0074, and the parts breakdown is 54-24-0112 the only other thing it could be if it is wired correctly is the remote electronic which is actually the variable speed portion of that switch. Let me know
