Vax v-091 burning smell and clunking noise
In middle of using Vax vacuum had a burning smell then a small clunking noise so immediately turned off , cleaned filters and let cool down tried to turn back on but clunking noise immediately so turned off again . Is this something simple or major to fix ? Brush's or belt or motor ??

Is there something stuck inside, underneath, being turned along with the motor? burning smell usually means something got caught and the belt snapped. Not expensive and don't know if it's an easy DYI. Shouldn't cost too much to have it repaired or you can google the brand and model and the word belt, see what you find.
