Check the fuse in the plug 1st, but you may have ripped the wire/s from inside the hover out of there connector. If you are able to, you may be able to take the hoover apart and reconnect the wires, if you feel this is something you are not happy with doing you may be able to take it to a repair shop! If its still under warranty you may be able to take it back and get it replaced?
