Pull off the rubber cover on the base and place the unit on a flat surface with the glass down. Remove the 4 phillips screws and take off the plastic cover carefully. Mind the wires don't short. Hold the unit level, and gently tilt to the rear. The battery will slide out, carefull, it's heavy. Take the wires off the terminals and note what colors are on the plus and negative terminals. Reconnect the new battery, and slide it back in the case. NOTE- if you reverse the polarity, you will permantly damage the unit. Reinstall the battery and rear covers. CHARGE FOR 12 Hours before use. After charging, wait 5 minutes before use.
