Has the car overheated? to what temp? is vaper coming out the back exaust? with the cap on did you bring the rpms up and down a few times till engine hit operating tempature then shut it off and let it cool down? then refill the over flow tank? if not fill radiator to top close cap open overflow and fill to the hot line runn engine to operting temp reave up motor a few times "NOT floored" make sure emergency breaks are on, tires blocked and nobody in back or front of car bring idel up to 2100 and drop back down a few times shut engine off let stand for a few listen for bubbles in the over flow should this NOT work and you get alot of pressure in the radiator then the worst thing is that you have a crack in one of the heads

I WAS ABLE TO SOLVE MY OVER HEATING TROUBLES. OK AT FIRST, THEN WHEN DRIVING THE NEEDLE WOULD JUMP TO THE RED IN A FLASH. AND NOW ITS SOUNDS LIKE BUBBLES . NEXT I NOTICED THAT WHEN IN IDLE SPEED IN PARK. IT RUNS FINE. WELL LOT OF GOOD THATS GONNA DO ME. WELL GOT TO LOOKING AND NOTICED THE FAN DOES NOT TURN ON. SO I REPLACED THE RELAY. AND THEN THE SENSOR. AND SO ON AND SO ON. HERES WHAT U GOTTA DO. GO GET GAS FOR THE TANK SO YOU DON'T RUN OUT. THEN MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS IN PLACE. SENSORS ECT. FILL THE RADIATOR TANK ON THE SIDE ALL THE WAY TO THE RIM. LEAVE THE CAP OFF AND KEEP THE GARDEN HOSE ON AND IN YOUR HAND. HAVE THE OTHER PERSON START THE CAR AND REV IT UP TO 2 TO 3 THOUSHAND RPMS. IN PARK OF COARSE. WHEN IT STARTS TO WARM UP KEEP GOING. ITS GOING TO START TO BOIL INTO THE PLASTIC TANK. WHEN IT DOES FILL THE TANK TO THE TOP AND KEEP IT THERE. GIVE IT GAS AND YOULL SEE BUBBLES AND SHORTLY AFTER A LOT OF WATER WILL COME GUSHING OUT. STAND BACK. BUT FILL IT AND NEVER LET THE WATER GO DOWN IN THE TANK KEEP IT FULL. AFTER IT BOILS OUT AND YOU FILL IT BACK UP . SHUT THE CAR OFF FOR LIKE THREE MIN. THEN START THE CAR BACK UP AND START REVING THE ENGINE AND MAKE THOSE BUBBLES COME BACK. YOU WANT IT TO SPIT THOSE BUBBLES OUT. WELL HERES THE THING. YOUR GONNA NEED TO DO THIS LIKE SIX OR SEVEN TIMES. SOUNDS CRAZY BUT ITS NOT. AROUND THE SIX TIME YOULL NOTICE THAT THE FAN HAS STARTED TO WORK AND IT SEEMS COOLER ALREADY. AND NOTICE THAT NO MORE BUBBLES ARE COMING OUT. I FOUND THAT THERE ARE THREE AIR POCKETS INSIDE. ONE OF THEM IS AROUND THE SENSOR AND DOES NOT LET THE WATER EVEN TOUCH IT. WELL NOT UNTIL YOU DRIVE IT. THEN WHAT LITTLE WATER THAT IS IN THERE IS SCOLDING HOT AND SPLASHING UP ON THE SENSOR. MAKING IT READ HOW DANG HOT IT REALLY IS. **** ONCE YOU RUN THE AIR POCKETS OUT AND THEY WILL COMEOUT. THEN THE SENSOR WILL HAVE WATER AROUND IT ONCE AGAIN. AND IT CAN NOW DO ITS JOB. WHICH ONE OF ITS JOBS IS TURNING ON THE FAN. ALSO MAKE SURE THE FAN SHROUD IS ON ALSO. OK IT WORKED FOR ME. SO GOOD LUCK. TRY THIS BEFORE BUYING A BUNCH OF STUFF YOU DON'T REALLY NEED.
