Venting a Dayton 4E454 24,000 BTU gas furnace
I bought a used Dayton 4E454 gas overhead furnace. It is a powered vent type witha approx. 3 to 4" squirell cage fan in line with the 6" discharge for the vent pipe. There is a label on this fan housing that says "Do not use a Class B double wall vent with a power vented heater". What type of venting do I use? Thanks!

If you intend to use this in a residential garage, you will have to use standard galvanized round pipe coming off the unit, 24 gauge will suffice, use a minimum of 6”-8” from the unit. From there you will have to make the transition to the B-Vent. Always double check with you local codes in your area.
Hope this helps.
