Vibration on my 1988 300sel mercedes between 38mph and 50mph. Felt mostly around center console area. Had wheels checked for balance ect. problem still exists

I would have the drive shaft checked. I suspect that a balancing weight has been knocked off. I say this because of the localization of the vibration and that the tires checked out okay. You may also want to have the U jounts checked as well while they are down there!
