I am assuming that the fan is running and you can feel air blowing out of the top of the unit. Unplug the unit, and remove the main unit from it's base by simply lifting it up. Turn it over and make sure there is a "spike" sticking out from the whole in the bottom. This "spike" has a whole in it and is where the water is drawn up from. Make sure this hole is not plugged up. If it is you can remove the 3 white plastic thumb screws and the bottom plastic plate. Then hold the disc that the spike is attached to and unlock the spike from the disk by twisting it (there is a picture on it to show you lock and unlock) so you can clean it out. Tht is about all you need to do to these as far as water draw and vaporization goes. If further cleaning is needed then you can pull the disc I just mentioned off of the motor which will uncover some screws you can remove in order to completely dis-assemble the unit. Good Luck
