I had owned this laptop for more then three years from now , i bought it from united states , but i live in Egypt where no store or any branches for Gateway co. , a year ago i stoped working while i'm using it by showing a blank black screen i thought it turned off tried to reboot it ... it boots but with a blank screen , i tried to connect it with an external screen using HDMI or VGA socket ... same problem they showed a blank screen , i figured out that my video card was damaged , the main problem is that it's integrated to the motherboard , and here in Egypt there are no parts or accessories for gateway as it has no branches or sellers here in egypt , so i wonder if it could be fixed or replaced . it's gateway fx p-7908 17" , 2.53 proc. core 2 duo , video card: nvidia geforce gtx 260m
