Video Display This problem just started. When I cold boot my computer, the green light blinks on and off about every 3 seconds and there is no display other than alternating full screen display of the RGB colors. After about 3-5 minutes, my desktop display appears. I have made certain that all video connections are firmly secured. Could this be a problem with the monitor or the display card. Is there a cheap and easy fix for this?

The problem might be with your video card or chipset.The monitor is working fine.May be some Ic's got corrupted in the system.Please check with a hardware technician.If its the IC problem, it can be fixed generally with out much expenses.
