Viking Dishwasher Leaks Into Base
What do you think is the most likely cause of this leak? I have a Viking DFUD042 (aka ASKO) dishwasher. Water leaks into the base. I've removed front plate, and removed water from base. This temporarily solved the problem and I was able to restart the dishwasher cycle. After a very short period, however (about 1 minute or so) the pump was the only thing working again, and it will not stop as long as its plugged in. (I'm assuming the base flooded again but did not pull the plate yet). The dishwasher does not appear (to me) to have a float valve. Am I right? If not, where is it, and how can I test/fix it? Also, I tried to take the back plate off by removing 4 screws. It would not come off. If I need to remove it, are there any tricks to removing it?

Since this was posted in May I guess it's been fixed but for those of you seeing this problem for the first time, here's one reply:
This sounds exactly like the problem I just found with my DFUD042. There is a small black hose between the base of the tub and a pump motor - part number on the hose is 8072888. The hose has a small **** or crack in it and water is leaking which is most likely the problem causing the symptoms. I had to throw the circuit breaker to get mine to shut off as well.
When I tried to remove the plate it was stuck under the black sound proofing so I had to work around it a bit until it finally came off. Now I just have to find the hose and some clamps.
