VIking VIPR181R downdraft exhaust stuck at half height. When I turned it off and then on, it made a grinding noise. I disassembled the motor gear housing and found the largest gear to be missing the three teeth (thus the grinding noise.) Now, I am trying to get either the gear itself or the gearbox. Viking wants to sell the package as a motor and gearbox at $600. Anybody have any ideas where to go to get the gear or gearbox?
