Vizio P50hdtv20a tv that has a blank screen. Still has back light and sound. I found that a capacitor has blown on the x-main board. Would replacing the board fix this issue? Or just the capacitor?

The capacitor replacement should be enough but I would replace all of them at once. When a cap blows, the other caps will try to fill in the blank and will then open the circuit so you won't have power. So yeah replace all of them. A great place to start would be here.
